This indie game news report is from Yavoz.fun, a father and son team making video games together on steam, and bringing you gamer news press updates.

Do yourself a favor and go check out the Dust Front RTS.
Seriously, it’s a breath of fresh air. Created by solo indie dev RTS Dimon, it takes the best parts of classic RTS games—building up a secure base, harvesting resources, and clashing with tanks and planes—and mashes it together with grand-strategy mechanics.
You’re dropped into a harsh, post-apocalyptic world where you have to outsmart and outfight two distinct enemy factions: Bandits and Mutants. The scale is awesome; you get to control massive top-down battles while trying to survive a map that gets more dangerous the further you push. It generated a ton of buzz during Steam Next Fest for a reason. If you miss the days of gritty, tactical strategy games where your choices actually matter, go download the demo and check it out for yourself.

Big multiplayer games like this are either really good or completely flop.
Let's look at how the numbers shake out. So, there is this new game demo on Steam called SpiritVale, and it is a total hit. It is a multiplayer game where you team up with friends, pick cool character roles like a Mage or a Knight, and fight massive monsters. Players are absolutely loving it, giving it a "Very Positive" rating on Steam. In fact, an awesome 96% of the people who played it left a great review. The company that made and published this game is called Baikun Interactive Pty Ltd. They are a small, indie team, which means they do not have a giant studio, but they work incredibly hard. They care a lot about making the game fair, so you can't just pay money in the game to win. (No one likes when AAA does that anyway) Right now, they are listening closely to what players say so they can fix bugs and make the final game even better when it officially launches and we had a lot of fun playing it.

Spoiler alert: it is not looking great.
There is another new Steam addition called MLF: Pro Catch. It is supposed to be a super realistic fishing game where you drive boats and catch big fish with fancy rods. But if you try to play it right now, you are going to run into a mountain of trouble. The game is packed with glitches and code errors. Instead of feeling like a relaxing day on the lake, it feels like a broken boat that ruins your day out on the water. Right now, it has a "Negative" rating because 90% of the players who tried it, couldn't play it. You should probably pass on this one for now. The team behind this game Ultimate Games S.A. needs to roll up their sleeves and do a lot of hard work. The math and code just are not ready yet. If you put real money into this right now, you would probably just end up frustrated. Keep your wallet in your pocket until the developers squish all these bugs and make the game actually work.
